Our project superintendents have: · Real authority to run the job; · Support from our interdisciplinary team of talented architects, designers and pre-construction experts; · Direct input on key success factors of the project, such as estimating and shop drawings. · Financial incentives tied to the project and company’s success · An environment that encourages professional development, and social, environmental and corporate responsibility Successful candidates will have: · At least 5 years design-build experience in office, industrial, multi-family (luxury), multi-story or mixed-use projects · Working knowledge and experience in all phases of construction · Successfully managed projects from $2mm to $30mm · Ability to travel · Ability to lead and document critical weekly job coordination meetings with subcontractors to get commitments and then meet them · A track record of creating project four-week look ahead schedules and holding contractors accountable for their results to guarantee on-time delivery · A history of executing quality construction projects and a portfolio to prove it · Ability to accurately document the project through daily reports, timesheets, material logs, safety reports and quality reports · A passion for safety that matches our corporate culture as documented by orientation for all subcontract employees, continual jobsite observation, and an intolerance for any unsafe environment · A history of completing projects with a minimal punchlist requiring no more than four weeks to complete.
