Consider leading multimillion-dollar commercial real estate projects for Al. Neyer, LLC, a prominent design-build and real estate development firm based in the Midwest. You’ll work with an outstanding staff—our award-winning team of architects, pre-construction managers, project managers and field superintendents. And, we have great relationships with subcontractors – who will be under your management. At any time, you’ll be ultimately responsible for the performance of your team on several building projects or one large project and expected to help create and hit all budget and performance goals. The standards are high, but don’t worry – if you’re good, you will run your own jobsite, be paid accordingly and won’t be micromanaged. We put a high premium on the kind of people who recognize the details and have the skills to orchestrate them to perfection in a high-energy environment. Because of our longevity, reputation and vision, you will have the opportunity to work on compelling office, residential, industrial and mixed-use projects all over the country. Successful candidates will have: Clear knowledge of market trends and costs to complete the design and construction below project budget Ability to clearly articulate to supervisors, subordinates and peers the needs and wants of the client A passion for executing quality work and demonstrated proof through portfolio of completed work At least 5 years of design-build experience in multi-family (luxury), multi-story and mixed-use projects (office and industrial experiences is a plus) Have a BS in Engineering or Construction Management Ability to forecast project costs and update schedule information accurately and to the required deadlines Ability to create and analyze design-build bid packages resulting in thorough subcontract scope of work Ability to successfully manage multiple smaller projects or individual larger project ranging from $2MM to $30MM Ability to lead Superintendents or Associate Project Managers by strong example and clear communication Ability to lead the design process with in-house and subcontract design services and beat the project budget Experience working with developers, in house or outside on projects from initial planning through execution Ability to manage projects in remote locations/cities Availability for some overnight travel Some conceptual design-build estimating experience We offer a competitive salary, incentive compensation plan (based on project performance and corporate goals) and the following benefits: 401(k) Plan Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) ** Profit Sharing Plan Company Subsidized Medical & Prescription Insurance Optional Dental Insurance Optional Vision Insurance Short & Long Term Disability Plan Group Life and Supplemental Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Optional Pre-Paid Legal & Identity Theft Plan Employee Assistance Program Matching Gift Program Matching Time Off Program for Charitable Service ** Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – This is unique.
