Vanderbilt opens outpatient facility in Hendersonville

Vanderbilt University Medical Center continues to serve the Greater Nashville area by opening facilities throughout Middle Tennessee. The Vanderbilt Health Hendersonville outpatient facility is our second project for repeat client Vanderbilt University Medical Center following the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt pediatric facility in Murfreesboro.

From Nashville Post:

VANDERBILT OPENS OUTPATIENT FACILITY IN HENDERSONVILLE

Vanderbilt University Medical Center has opened a 31,000-square-foot outpatient care facility in Hendersonville.

The facility, Vanderbilt Health Hendersonville, will feature 40 clinic exam rooms offering outpatient specialty care, urgent care services and imaging capabilities. Specialty offerings will include women’s health, pediatrics, adult primary carer, orthopedics and rheumatology as well as three chairs for non-chemo medical infusions.

In a statement VUMC officials said the facility was built out to accommodate Hendersonville’s growing population, which is projected to increase 45 percent by 2035. The facility is located at 128 N. Anderson Lane and is staffed with 50 to 60 clinical and non-clinical employees. Construction, which began in March 2020, was completed by Al. Neyer.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This is Al. Neyer’s second project for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, catalyzed after the design-build team delivered superior service on the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt pediatric facility in Murfreesboro.

The 31,000 SF facility will offer adult outpatient specialty care, along with limited pediatric specialty care and imaging services. The facility will feature 40 clinic exam rooms, urgent care services, and imaging capability such as CT, ultrasound and X-ray. Specialties on-site at the single-story facility include women’s health, pediatrics, adult primary care, orthopedics, imaging, rheumatology, and walk-in care. Additionally, the facility will have four chairs for non-chemotherapy medical infusions.
