Neyer was a family-owned business, passed along through five generations until 2014 when the company transferred all its stock to an employee stock ownership plan and became a 100 percent employee-owned company. Taking Ownership is one of Al. Neyer’s core values. Our team does so by partnering with several organizations in the community, including but not limited to, United Way and ArtsWave. The team wrapped up the 2019 ArtsWave campaign in April – exceeding the corporate goal by nearly $2,000. The Al. Neyer executive leadership team is also actively involved in more than 25 nonprofits. Our employee-owners regularly volunteer for initiatives including Give Back Cincinnati, People Working Cooperatively, and UC Economics Center. Although, the reach of community involvement from Al. Neyer blankets many organizations across Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Nashville, and now Raleigh. We are also committed to our connection with the Cincinnati USA Chamber of Commerce; president and CEO Molly North is currently serving as its Board Chair. Employee-owners are encouraged to get involved with organizations like Leadership Cincinnati, WE Lead, C-Change, and Cincy Next. Al. Neyer strives to not only change the landscape of the markets we work in, but also build the communities. Follow along with our community involvement & project updates on our social media – Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
