Al. Neyer Gives a Second Chance to a Once Razed Site

Nehemiah Manufacturing is a local manufacturer of a variety of products for The Procter & Gamble Company, including saline wipes and detergent products. They concentrate on providing career opportunities to individuals with criminal records, gaps in employment, and other barriers that would typically create challenges finding a job. Nehemiah chose Al. Neyer to help created a facility that matched their goal of rebuilding the Cincinnati community.

The new 180,600 SF facility is situated on an eight-acre reclaimed brownfield site just west of Downtown Cincinnati. As a result of a former facility five years ago, vapor mitigation and ground improvement system will be installed to ventilate and structurally stabilize the soil on the site. Al. Neyer’s long history of constructing concrete tilt-wall and steel buildings allowed us to meet the client’s accelerated timeline.

Construction began in June of 2017 and was completed in March of 2018.
