A new corporate headquarters and fresh food cold storage facility is under construction there, and Al. Neyer’s Pittsburgh team leading the design-build efforts. Paragon Foods is Pittsburgh’s largest family-owned owned fresh foods distributor. The company needed a new fresh food preparation space to accommodate a growing customer base within the local food industry. The company chose Al. Neyer for its experience with designing and building custom industrial space for many other Pittsburgh area businesses. The new building will include a two-story office with meeting rooms, training space, a demonstration kitchen, and plenty of cold storage, ensuring Paragon Foods is able to deliver the finest produce, poultry, seafood and dairy products available. Crews will begin construction in April and anticipate completing by the end of 2015.
