Al. Neyer Wins Two NAIOP Pittsburgh Awards

We’re thrilled to stop to celebrate two projects that have been awarded 2021 awards by NAIOP Pittsburgh! Our 100,000 SF tech-flex facility for gene therapy company, Krystal Biotech, was recognized as the winner of NAIOP Pittsburgh’s 2021 Build-to-Suit Industrial award and our 202,800 SF warehouse at Clinton Commerce Park III was recognized as the winner in the Speculative Industrial category.

These projects are strong testaments to the activity happening in the Greater Pittsburgh area. Krystal Biotech’s expansion is expected to create numerous jobs and is noted to be one of the largest biotechnical investments in the region to date. Clinton Commerce Park continues to attract dynamic manufacturing and warehouse users, as well as medical and lab users, that fuel Pittsburgh’s growth.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Krystal Biotech sits on a 10-acre site, north of the Pittsburgh International Airport, directly adjacent to Business I-376 on International Drive. This build-to-suit Tech Flex facility consists of 100,000 SF, with 10,000 SF of office space and the remaining space used for the Tenant’s R&D, manufacturing and warehouse needs. The precast panels range from 46’ at the north end of the building and drop to 41’7” through the warehouse and laboratories at the south end. There are 200 parking spaces available for standard vehicles. Al. Neyer successfully met a condensed timeline to fill the client’s immediate need for space. The building also includes a 40,000 SF mezzanine level for office and laboratory space, a unique function in this type of construction.

Clinton Commerce III is part of the second phase of Clinton Commerce Park in Clinton, Pa. Clinton Commerce III includes a 202,800 SF building that consists of precast concrete walls with 32’ clear height, 18 loading docks, and two drive-in doors. The site also holds 160 parking spaces. Al. Neyer has strategically built ahead of Greater Pittsburgh’s demand for industrial space with this multi-phased speculative development. Clinton Commerce Park’s proximity to critical highway systems and the Pittsburgh International Airport position this building as an attractive opportunity for manufacturing and warehouse users, as well as medical and lab users. Al. Neyer has commenced or completed projects on 6 of the 7 lots within the park in just 5 years.
