Neyer’s Design-Build team is moving forward with construction of a new building for Goodwill Industries in Cranberry Township. With 80 percent of the asphalt applied to the parking lot and driveway, crews are now focusing their efforts on the structure itself. All of the structural steel has been installed, and the roof has been stocked with material. Work on the interior of the building is set to start as soon as the end of January. The high volume of traffic at the current Goodwill location in Cranberry Township has led to the need for a larger building with more convenient accessibility. Al. Neyer is working as the construction manager and designer for the 23,896 SF retail and office space. The 13,600 SF retail portion of the building offers space for a sales floor, seven changing rooms, three offices, a conference room, and an I.T. room. In addition to that space, the site includes a 10,200 SF warehouse space that will house the donations. The new location will be one of the largest in the Pittsburgh area. Al. Neyer’s team started construction this past October and is scheduled to complete the project in April.
