Neyer congratulates client Atlas Air on being recognized with the REDI Cincinnati’s James A. Wuenker Growth Award for 2019. Al. Neyer is building the 100,000 SF office and operations center for the global leader in cargo and passenger services. From the Cincinnati Business Courier: ATLAS AIR EARNS AWARD FOR BRINGING EXPANDED SERVICE TO CVG In 2019, Atlas Air announced expansion plans for a new, state-of-the-art operations center near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). In recognition of this project that has the potential to create a significant positive economic impact in the Cincinnati region, REDI Cincinnati has named Atlas Air a winner of a James A. Wuenker Growth Award for 2019. Atlas is committed to a long-term lease at a site in Erlanger, Kentucky, where construction continues on the building that will contain its new operations center. It’s slated to become the home base of over 300 existing Atlas Air employees in addition to the nearly 600 the company to add, strengthening the Cincinnati region’s position as one of the top U.S. cities for job growth. Read more from the Cincinnati Business Courier here. ABOUT THE PROJECT Al. Neyer worked with Atlas Air for almost two years trying to determine the best location for their new facility to relocate. The team landed on the site on Viox Drive because of its central location and a large enough site to offer Atlas Air the ability to expand in the future. The project is located just South of Al. Neyer’s development, Erlanger Commerce Center. The site’s expansion capabilities include enough space for another 100,000 SF facility if Atlas needs additional space in the future. Atlas Air’s two largest clients include DHL and Amazon Air, which both have a strong presence at the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport.
