Neyer Moving Forward on Massive Distribution Center in Nashville Initial site work is underway at Al. Neyer’s largest industrial project to date in Greater Nashville. Cedar Farms Industrial Park, a 1.5 million SF e-commerce distribution center near I-840 in Lebanon, is materializing in two phases. The development represents Al. Neyer’s second partnership with New York Life Real Estate Investors, this time to create distribution space that offers potential same-day delivery to 39 million people within 300 miles of Nashville. The first phase involves the construction of 902,000 SF. Crews are currently engaged in site work including rock blasting for site retention ponds and utility corridors, and excavation. Once this phase is finished and the land can support the expansive structure, Al. Neyer’s field team will focus on pouring the concrete foundation. Installation of the site utilities is expected to begin in February. The project management team expects to finish construction of Phase I in late 2018. The second phase pad is available to accommodate a built-to-suit structure up to 600,000 SF.
