Neyer Breaks Ground in Nashville, Tennessee SONY DSC Al. Neyer has begun a new chapter in company history with groundbreaking of at 175,000 SF Class A office project in Nashville, Tennessee. The April 5 groundbreaking marked the start of construction on the speculative project in the Cool Springs neighborhood of Franklin, one of the most competitive office markets in (more)as they broke ground on the first project in the highly sought after area of Franklin, Tennessee. The groundbreaking, accompanied by fantastic weather, was celebrated by the Franklin Mayor Ken Moore, county officials, representatives from New York Life, and Al. Neyer employees. The first phase of construction will include site mobilization, site work, and building foundations. Heavy equipment has made its way to the site, and work is starting to remove debris. Once sitework is finished and the land is equipped to support a 175,000 SF building, the foundation will be poured. The five-story office will feature floor-to-ceiling glass and an open floor plan, giving the project a spacious feeling and abundance of natural light. The project includes approximately 911 surface parking spaces and 85 reserved spaces beneath the office building. The development will include protected greenspace with a rolling stream and walking paths that will offer convenient access to more than 45 nearby restaurant and retail venues. The site will include two business-class hotels that are being developed separately by Dakota Legacy Group. Al. Neyer is developing the project with partner New York Life, and Foundry Commercial is the listing representative for the property. Construction plans to be finished around the first quarter of 2018.
