Al. Neyer Announces Strategic Leadership Advancements

Al. Neyer, a leading commercial real estate developer and design-builder, announces three key leadership promotions to support the company’s growth.

From the Cincinnati Business Courier:

One of Greater Cincinnati’s most active commercial real estate developers announced three leadership promotions on Tuesday to support its growth in 2023.

Al Neyer, headquartered in downtown Cincinnati, has promoted Stephanie Gaither to the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer, real estate. The firm also elevated Justin Hartung to the role of vice president, real estate development and southeast markets, and Ken Berling to the role of vice president, design-build.

“These changes are great examples of leaders stepping into new and expanded roles to meet the needs of our growing company,” CEO Molly North said in a release. “Stephanie, Justin, and Ken are all rare in their abilities to drive excellence for our clients and investors while also building effective teams and processes that can fuel our growth. It’s always exciting to celebrate internal promotions that create new opportunities for our employee-owners.”

Gaither joined Al Neyer in 2018 as chief financial officer and senior vice president. Prior to joining Al Neyer, Gaither held leadership positions at companies including Urban Sites, Grandin Properties and Cincinnati Center City Development Corp.

Hartung joined Al Neyer’s Cincinnati design-build team in 2012 prior to relocating to Nashville in 2017. In his new role, he will oversee Al Neyer’s development teams and activities in the Nashville and Raleigh markets. He brings nearly two decades of construction and development experience to the role and has helped establish key relationships with clients including Vanderbilt University Medical Center and REI Co-op.

Berling began his career at Al Neyer in 2005 as a co-op. He has since become a trusted leader on the firm’s design-build team, according to a release, most recently holding the role of director, design-build. In his new role as vice president for design-build, Berling will relocate to Al Neyer’s Nashville market and oversee construction of all projects in the region. He also will manage the local design-build team of 25 employee-owners.
