8th and Sycamore Underway

Our design and construction management teams are charging ahead with yet another project that will have a dramatic impact on the Downtown Cincinnati skyline.

8th and Sycamore is another mixed-use, multi-unit residential project developed by North American Properties and NorthPointe Group. John Senhauser Architects is serving as the architect of record for this 17-story project, bringing together the development, design and construction team that delivered the Seven at Broadway luxury apartment tower in 2015. The Eighth and Sycamore project includes a new development partner, the Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC), which is developing the parking garage and retail portion of the $52 million structure.

The 133 luxury apartments will include studio, 1- and 2- bedroom floor plans, including some residences with den spaces. Each unit will feature quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and additional luxury finishes. The residential development will boast other high-end amenities including a pool and sundeck, party room, well-appointed exercise room, and a grand lobby. The street level will include two commercial spaces that will have the potential to accommodate retail, dining or entertainment tenants.

Like Seven at Broadway, this development offers a convenient location that will allow residents to walk to the Central Business District and Over-the-Rhine. Residents will also be able to take advantage of several nearby Red Bike stations, Zipcar rentals, and the streetcar will run a block away when service begins in fall 2016.
