Al. Neyer has a long history of supporting United Way and its mission of investing in education, income and health in the Tri-State and was listed in 2013 as one of the LIVE UNITED 100, recognizing the top 100 companies with highest per capita giving, with 10 http://www.pillsarena.com/ to 500 employees and a minimum combined giving of $10,000 (that do not qualify to be in the Top 25 or are recognized in the Tremendous 25). This year’s campaign is chaired by Jim Wainscott, chairman and president of AK Steel, who will work with area center campaign chairs to engage business and community leaders in Hamilton, Clermont and Brown counties and the Middletown area in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Grant and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties in Southeastern Indiana. Last year’s campaign raised $61.7 million dollars to support key initiatives tied to the community’s Bold Goals for our Region initiative, which focus on Preparing children, youth and young adults to succeed in school and life Ensuring individuals and families achieve financial stability Helping individuals live quality lives and achieve maximum health and independence For more information on the United Way campaign and the community’s Bold Goals, click here.
