Taking places from Green to Great

Al. Neyer’s corporate, municipal and health care clients and development partners increasingly recognize that providing a greener workplace is a better experience for people – as well as something they can proudly stand behind as an institution. We are enthusiastic supporters of the shift to environmentally friendly buildings, and everyday work to further our commitment, capabilities and relationships with others in our industry to share resources and ideas. We also continue to encourage our staff to meet the standards of professional accreditation in this area.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating is the industry standard as a green building rating system. The LEED program is a voluntary, third-party certification process developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), of which Al. Neyer is a member.

In addition to our commitment to LEED projects, our work in brownfield and urban infill projects is environmentally responsible redevelopment and creates opportunities and community benefits beyond the bricks and mortar used in the physical structures.

Case in Point – Linden Pointe – Learn about the cleanup and redevelopment of a blighted site in the middle of the City of Norwood, part of the former General Motors assembly plant that closed in 1987.

The next phase of the green development and construction is under way on the corporate office and clinical research campus of Medpace, Inc.
