East Pointe 200 achieves LEED Gold rating TWO FIRSTS: Project first to gain certification under Ohio Job Ready Site program
East Pointe 200 received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification for Core and Shell today. Located in the City of Middletown on a site east of Interstate 75 in the City’s Renaissance District, East Pointe 200 is a 50,000-square-foot Class A office building, completed last year by Al. Neyer, Inc., developer and owner. East Pointe 200 is the seventh LEED Core & Shell certified project in the State of Ohio and the third to achieve Gold certification. It is the City of Middletown’s first LEED-Certified building. "Al. Highlights of the project’s sustainable aspects include:
SHP Leading Design was LEED consultant for East Pointe 200. Key tenant of East Pointe 200 is Paychex NA, a corporate benefits and human resources outsourcing firm that occupies nearly half of the building. Both Paychex and State Farm, a 5,200-square-foot tenant, designed and built their spaces intended for LEED-certification for Commercial Interiors (CI).

Neyer, Inc. is a 116-year-old commercial real estate development, investment and design-build company, responsible for hundreds of thousands of square feet of office, medical office, industrial and residential mixed-use space that contributes to the economic vitality of cities in which we build.
