Grant Industrial Project Almost Complete

Grant Industrial

Crews are working to finish a new warehouse for growing electrical supply distributor Grant Industrial Controls, Inc. Al. Neyer was chosen to deliver a 25,000 sf project in a key location near the Pittsburgh International Airport.

Neyer’s design/build team chose a single-story tilt-wall plan, which is an effective and cost-effective method for a building of this kind.

The front entry of this project features a beveled edge that connects two surfaces. This design feature creates a lined panel that allows the corner of the building stand out from the rest of the structure.

The Neyer team solved several challenges while building this project, most involving the site, which featured uncontrolled fill and required a strategic placement closest to the land’s shallow bedrock.

Construction is expected to be complete in November, 2014.
